Scope

This Standard sets out the recommended practices for the selection, care and use of occupational protective footwear for the protection of feet in building and construction, underground working, mining, quarrying, forestry and other occupations with similar hazards.

Abstract

Provides users and purchasers of occupational protective footwear with recommended practices for the selection care and use of protective footwear in a wide range of primary, secondary and construction industries. Guidance for footwear care, fitting and foot protection programs is provided.
