Scope

This Standard specifies methods for testing footwear designed as personal protective equipment.

Abstract

Specifies requirements and where appropriate test methods to establish conformity with these requirements for footwear intended to protect the wearer's feet against foreseeable hazards in a variety of workplaces. This Standard has been reproduced from ISO 8782-1:1998.
